Here are some useful websites for old mac hardware stuff with a few for buying and selling old mac stuff.

Specs of all Mac http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/index.html
Hardware ever produced, a very useful resource with not too many mistakes although I would not trust their current prices too far.

Good site for most Apple Mac Parts. http://www.applemacparts.com
Understandably prices are quite high but can still be useful especially if assessing the cost of a repair.

Mac ads board. http://www.macads.co.uk
Good although it is not used by that many people and prices are often rather high.

What listing would be complete without a link to the eBay Macintosh section? http://listings.ebay.co.uk/pool1/plistings/list/all/category4599/index.html
For anyone who does not know eBay is an online auction site. It is very good and has a lot of memebers so prices are normally quite sensible.

General Mac troubleshooting site. http://www.geocities.com/texas_macman/MacTroubleshoot.html
The guy who maintains it belongs to another Yahoo Group that I also belong to.

Low End Mac http://www.lowendmac.com
A great site. Answers to virtually all your questions on older Mac hardware and answers to hundreds more questions you had not even thought of! Also has lots of links to other good sites.

About This Particular Macintosh http://www.atpm.com/8.06/networking.shtml
This one talks you through the steps of networking compact Macs (e.g. SE etc) and has links to all the software downloads you might need on Apple's site.

Last but not least the Apple site itseflf http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html
Downloads page for all old Apple software including all Mac OS updates. Do be careful what you install though as some of the software has the potential to do a lot of damage. All the same a very useful resource.
