As well as of course the iPhone final launch which delayed the Leopard launch. After Ben's report and Job's presentation there will be an open discussion.

Virtualisation – a close look at running other operating systems on your Intel Mac. Bootcamp or Parallels allow you to have other operating systems installed, Linus, BSD, or Windows. You may find after leaving the Microsoft camp that there is no equivalent application on the Mac – all is not lost you can run XP or Vista and therefore your favorite app.

Problem solving – what you should take with you when you're mobile to get out of a fix, software and hardware recommendations.

There will also be an opportunity to "show and tell" your best, most interesting, or latest software or hardware.

We introduce Leopard Apple's new cat

There will be an extra special door prize tonight of a copy of either iLife '08 or iWork '08 for the lucky winner of the draw.

Since Tiger (29 April 2005) Leopard has been in production that's over two and a half years – delayed due to the launch of the iPhone, but now it's here or should be by the time of the meeting.

Apple say 300+ new features – so what are they and what's in it for you, what's important? Then why not come along and we'll attempt to answer all your questions and hopefully reveal everything – as well as to show you what it contains.

AGM with prize draw, followed by a meal ... which will be at Al Shami, it will cost £15 each plus drinks, see the mailing list for details if you'd like to join us.

The usual start time 19:30, please make sure you arrive in good time as the building is secure and has controlled access. There is a half-hour pre-meeting from 19:00 for general discussion problem solving and Apple/Mac chat.
Following the meeting some adjourn for more Mac and other talk.
